About Our Chapter
The Merrimack Valley Chapter of NAVHDA is a North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association that covers NH, VT, MA, as well as members from CT and ME. Our Chapter motto is “We help train you so that you can train your dog.” We offer training and tests at Sharpe’s Farm in Hopkinton, NH, specializing in Obedience, Pointing birds, Searching/Tracking downed birds, Steadiness to wing, shot, fall, Retrieving to hand on land or in water, and Training to all NAVHDA testing levels: NA, UPT, UT and Invitational. Our focus is on pointing breeds only, so we do not work with flushing breeds or retrievers. We strive to make training and tests fun, while helping you reach the goals you have for your dog.
