Sharpe’s Farm Info

Sharpe’s Farm and dike are part of the U.S. Army Core of Engineers (USACE) Hopkinton-Everett Lakes Flood Risk Management Project.  The farm is located at the end of Little Frost road in Hopkinton, N.H., and the dike is accessible by car from Cressey Brook road.  The farm and dike are governed by USACE and New Hampshire Fish & Game (NHFG).  The land is also a pheasant stocking site in October.  The Hopkinton Everett Lake Dog Club Association (HELDCA) is comprised of the Merrimack valley chapter and several other N.H. dog clubs. The HELDCA clubs also use the farm and dike for their dog training and testing. HELDCA’S use of the sites is made possible by a contract with the USACE.  The agreement sets the dates for when the HELDCA clubs may use the facility.  Individual club members may use the facility, when there are no events scheduled, but must adhere to the “rules and regulations” set by the USACE and NHFG. These rules and other use information can be found on the websites listed below.  Due to HELDCA’s USACE contract, the rules and regulations are slightly more restrictive than what is required by an official dog club event. Please become familiar with the requirements before using the farm or dike.
